You can never pass up a choc chip cookies, with added oats to make them crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside – who could resist?

INGREDIENTS
- 150g unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup Nuvia Baking
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
METHOD
- 1. Preheat oven to 160C and line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- 2. In a medium bowl, beat butter and Nuvia with electric beaters until light and fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla and beat until combined. Sift flour and baking powder into egg mixture and then add in oats and chocolate. Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined
- 3. Roll tbsp. of mixture into balls and place on a lined tray 2 inch apart. Use your fingers to flatten slightly and bake for 12-15min or until golden.
